The Eve to a look forward to

Night of the 30th, Wow, October passed by without a hitch! Between the School and hanging out, I guess it was going to happen when you keep busy! Looking out the window to my house, it’s looking like it’s about to be a full moon, just for tomorrow, and seeing all the halloween decorations all set, just gives off the right spooky vibe- Wait… Did I even get prepared? I started to search around my home, opening cabinets and drawers, but I didn’t see any candy or anything. It wasn’t like i needed a costume, since that could ‘easily’ be taken care of when I need one. Amidst my search I went into the kitchen and opened up everything I could. To my relief, I found them safe and sound in the fridge.

Almost panicked for a minute there, no candy for trick or treaters, boy what would be the point to even coming! As i went to return back to my room to get ready for bed, I noticed something on the counter. I walked closer to it and It looks to be a dragon doll someone left, which is strange, I don’t remember anyone coming by today… It looked pretty simple, with its bright yellow hair and light red scales, it would seem pretty normal. The gem on its belly begged to differ, it… Almost feels like it’s calling out to me to grab it. I gave a final look around, just to make sure no one is actually in the house, then turn back to the doll, staring at it’s blank yellow eyes. Well, I guess I should put it up in a safe place and ask tomorrow about it.

As I reached out towards it, I saw the jewel once more, but there was a pair of eyes, glowing and looking back at me! “I wouldn’t try anything funny if I were you…” It took a moment for me to realize it wasn’t the jewel itself talking, and I spun around my head and noticed who the eyes belonged to… I kept turning as more and more of the ghostly dragon appeared in my sight, it was pretty much exactly as the doll was but… He has an extremely well built body for being a spirit, as everything past his abs was a flickering, almost like an upside down fire. The broken chains around his wrists and one of his horns almost look demon like- and his eyes were discolored, his right a violet matching his jewel in his chest and his left a golden yellow much like the chains. He bore a very devilish looking grin this whole time I looked him over, and I couldn’t help but to freeze up…

“W-who… are you?” I asked trying not to panic so much. He took a moment to cross his arms and chuckle to himself. “My apologies, I am Winston…” Then he looked back to me, locking his eyes with mine. “Winston Khalem, at your service.” Winston said to me, and I gave a quick sigh at his words. “-And to whom do i owe this pleasure to?” He added on, and I looked back at him. “Well, my name is Bheni… But can I ask- what are you, and why are you in my house?” I asked back, hoping it wouldn’t anger him. “It is true, I do enjoy being a surprise guest, and among that nothing but a bodiless spirit- but I had an interesting offer for you for tomorrow…” Winston said, as he unfolded his arms and in a dust of smoke, a contact appears right before me. “-In this coming Halloween, I can assure you… You’ll be getting the most candy of them all, and all to yourself!” He boasted while i looked over the paper that was neatly written It pretty much explained just as he did, A Dragon’s hoard worth of candy, all just for- “...Just all you need to do is sign at the bottom and the deal is made!” Deal…?
