Excuse the terrible quick sketch.
I’d like to take a couple months after the first chapter is done toi show how these two met.
Essentially Toby brought Lex in off of the street and shared his meager rations with him and offered him shelter.
The fact that a poor refugee would offer up food and shelter left Lex doing everything he could to pay Toby back. He would help where he could, entertain Toby and tried to find work to pay back the generous gesture.
The two have been inseperable ever since.
