As an accompanying photo for my live journal "ARSMAGNA", this was the vanity plate I'd owned from the late 1980s to the early 1990s for my Volkswagen Golf. At the time, I was in my first decade of membership in the National Puzzlers' League, under the nom TE-ZIR-MAN (pronounced 'Teaser Man') - which was an anagram for my RL last name MARTINEZ!

My fascination with anagrams and transposals knows no limitations. I find them everywhere. For instance, many of you may have seen (at one time or another) a bumper sticker that reads "ELVIS LIVES!" And I'm sure you've seen print and TV ads for the Toyota CAMRY - the model which, when you rearrange its letters spells out "MY CAR". And those of you furry fanatics who saw the Disney/Pixar feature "Ratatouille" recall the French cook whose ghost 'Remy' encounters - AUGUSTE GUSTEAU (whose first name transposes into the last name). And speaking of movies, the film "OCTOBER SKY" is an anagram for "ROCKET BOYS" - the title of the original novel from which the film was made!

Anyway, I hope you like this 'blast from my past'. To reiterate, ARS MAGNA is a Latin phrase for 'great art', and is an anagram for ANAGRAMS. 'Nuff said?
