Strengths:
Faster than a Bullet Train!: Tachyon has tested her speed by out running local freight trains and even aircraft by racing their silhouettes. She has yet to try and race against other speedsters.
I can run up walls!: Tachyon can go fast enough to run across bodies of water and up vertical surfaces.
Good thing my speed affects my natural healing: Tachyon’s speed seems to also affect her natural healing allowing for faster natural healing. Allowing her to heal twice as fast as a normal furson.
Hmm lets see this looks...and done.: Although Tachyon may not be super smart she can solve problems faster than anyone shes met. Provided she understands the problem.
What's wrong guys it's only a little heat?: Serena seems to completely ignorant or possibly doesn't even seem to notice sometimes scaring her mother half to death when it comes to ovens. Furthermore both fire and intense heat seem unable to harm her physically though she hasn't tested this ability with plasma.
Weaknesses:
My Twin Sense is tingling!: Under normal Conditions this type of sibling connection would be beneficial but when your twin sister is a villainous it can go either way.
I may heal faster but it doesn't make me bullet proof!: Although she has an impressive regeneration it's not the levels extreme to wear it could prevent her from death by murderous intent.
W-wh-why i-i-is i-i-it s-so c-c-c-cold?!: on the flip side of her immunity to the heat Serena can't handle the cold very well to the point where her body even starts to become slow and sluggish like an amphibian in similar climates.
Outfits:
Civilian: Rachel tends to wear a white shirt, scarlet tight jeans, and a pair of knee high cowgirl boots when not working. While reporting Rachel tends to opt to wear a red jumpsuit and white boots.
Costume: While out and about Rachel wears a friction resistant red, black, and orange costume with orange like flames along her hips. She also wears a helmet that helps her cope with running at high speeds and dealing with wind resistance.
Bio:

Serena was born as one of a pair of twins. Though Serena herself never knew it. They were separated after birth. According to her mother Serena’s father was something of a insufferable. Though she never explained what she meant to her daughter nor did she ever tell Serena she had a twin the two left to make new lives in Platinum City, Nevada. Serena didn't like the Nevada heat at first but slowly grew to like and strangely to some folk enjoy it.

Serena’s mother found lucrative work as a geographic surveyor for Platinum Cities lucrative platinum mine. Which she received the transfer to after talking to her supervisor at Excelacom. For a few years things were relatively normal Serena had turned eighteen and had gotten an internship as a part time reporter for the local news network. She even on the side started her own youtube channel doing vlogs, game reviews and playthroughs. It wasn't until her nineteenth birthday that Serena learned about her true potential. While assisting in covering a story on a burning structure in town Serena saw a child about to be crushed from the burning wreckage of the structure. On reflex she ran over to try and rescue the boy. Under normal circumstances she would have been to far away to catch him in time. But miraculously she was able to not only rescue him so fast that even the child saw her run up but also leave the building untouched by the flames...well herself physically her clothing on the other hand…

Upon returning home embarrassed and confused Serena went straight to her mother. She was shocked to learn that her newfound gifts were the reason her mother left her father. As it turned out he was actually a member of the terrorist cell in Europe known as Regressu a group devoted to the restoration of the old British Empire. He was a super enhanced agent sent to infiltrate the American Excelacom branch. Her mother met him and fell in love with before hand and never knew the truth. When she learned about his true motives things turned for the worse. Knowing she could never support his action as a true patriot her mother left or more like fled taking the young Serena with her.

Serena was shocked to learn about the truth of her father. Serena sheepishly asked if that was why her mother always seemed sad at times. Her mother liked concerned that telling her daughter about her twin sister would further harm her well being. She gave Serena a moment to relax and absorb all this in before continuing to explain that her new found resilience may be from her father and her speed was...from her. Serena looked at her mother dumbfounded and even asked what she meant by that. Her mother explained that even though she was only a surveyor for Excelacom she had participated in a special program which resulted in her being able to do anything in half the normal time. But her mother wanted to have a normal life for her children so she never exploited her abilities or made them public. Serena had several questions that her mother was willing to answer all save one. Was the ‘project’ the reason her father became interested in her? Despite the suspected answer Serena needed time to process all this. After taking some time to contemplate this all Serena wondered if she should hide her gifts or use them? It wasnt until she ran into the boy she rescued who wanted to thank her for rescuing him that she decided.

Serena planned to become the newest hero on the block and Platinum Cities guardian. Her mother was less than thrilled with the concept and even at one point demanded she forget the idea all together. But Serena insisted and her mother accepted that she wasnt going to keep her daughter from doing this pulled a few strings with her friends at Excelacom. On her twentieth birthday her mother gave Serena her costume! Explaining it was made specifically to compensate the high speed friction forces and will remain intact unlike her last set of cloths…

Serena endeared by her mother's gift despite her hesitance began her heroic career adopting the name Tachyon after the concept of faster than light particles. Over the course of her small career Tachyon has done several small feats and a great deal to protect Platinum City. Although her newfound heroism has gone well so far but on occassion there have been moments where she has these strange feelings that she can sense as if she could feel something else is happening? Almost as if she had ghost syndrome there would be moments where she’d feel unexplained anger or happiness? Fear or bravado, or even Pain or pleasure? When her mother offered no answers she felt conflicted and confused on sure of what this meant exactly. For now however she is quite content on trying to leave it be though there have been moments where she could not and ended up getting overwhelmed by the emotion. Despite this she has done fairly well as a heroine even getting the chance to meet other heroes such as Abra and Elvis the Bureau's main heroes for Nevada.

Personality: Serena is quite kind and tends to put others before herself. She’s fairly courageous and sometimes overconfident though she tends to let her fear show during scary game plays. Serena also will lend a hand to her fellow heroes though she tends to zoom off as soon as the discussion of registering comes up. Serena tends to be a bit competitive when it comes to her abilities even to where she's considered challenging other speedsters to race.
