You can't give up hope, just because it's hopeless. You gotta hope even harder and cover your ears and go.. blah-blah-blah.
I've been reading Moby Dick by Melville, lately, and thus have been
thinking about large underwater creatures and harpoons. As an aside, has anyone
else noticed how incredibly gay that book is? Homosexual imagery abounds!~
60x60" digital painting
Also thanks Kamui, for the Title!

Buh.
Man, are you planning on printing it? Because five square feet of the DOGSQUID CHRONICLES (the HARPOONENING) would be pretty rad.
Is this customary for you? How big have the other pieces you've been posting here been?
I only ask because it's like an order of magnitude larger than I work ^_^ I think if I tried to use some of my chunky texture brushes at that size, Photoshop would explode, even on the new computer.

5 Feet of Squid would be pretty Epic. But you know me an my need to work fucking HUGE. I thought I might as well try to pull that into some of the digital paintings. This was practice for the next piece Im working on for that show in June.
I've just been exploring format as I go along, so nothing standard yet. Generally somewhere in the 3000 - 5000px range. But yeah, it did start to get a little grindy
towards the end there with photoshop progress bar explosions.
