Myes. Trying to give a shot not at Inktober, because I'm slow as hell at drawing, so I'm going to annoy you with pre-drawn pictures of imps for the whole month.
Starting with the striped imp. It's one of the most widely-distributed species that inhabits a lot temperate environments, ranging from boreal to mediterranean climates. Like most imp species they can be found predominantly in forests, with only a few cultures living in open spaces. They are also notable for their presence in elven and mixed cities to a larger degree than the others. Striped imps are the largest species of the umbra group.
A trait present in most imps are the gliding membranes on the limbs and the tail fan; aside from gliding, they are also used to slow down falls, nonverbal communication (both intra- and interspecific) and regulation of temperature. All imp species possess signal spots on the underside of their tail feathers, which are used to give silent signals to others when foraging, with each culture having an unique signal code additionally to their spoken language. Due to their size and their not very extensive membranes, striped imps are not one of the better gliders.
