It's been a while since I drew something that I just really wanted to draw. It so happened that what I really wanted to draw was a lioness in armor holding a stupidly large sword behind her. (It's the image I've had in my head for an RPG character; haven't decided on her name yet)
If you haven't done art for yourself in a long while I would suggest that you do, because--at least I think so--the art you do for yourself invariably comes out better, and everyone needs that confidence boost now and then!

That's not all; one of his weapon was a Spiked Tower Shield. I took feats to take away fighting penalties when using it *Giggles* I had the shield specially made of adamantium so I could attach spikes to it, and took a feat to be able to use those too. Yes, I can totally cheese my character sometimes.
Reading this reminds me of my 3.x Sun Elf Bladesinger. Sure, it took 14 levels of wizard to get to where he could actually learn the Bladesinger PrC, but my good Corellon, if it was not worth having high end combat buffs to toss onto an already amazing prestige class. Int and Dex bonus to AC, cast spells in light armor (mithral breastplate ftw!)... then add in Haste, Bear's Endurance, Tenser's Transformation, Stoneskin, etc, and he just flits through combat.
very nice start.
the armour looks a bit too modern for fantasy, but maybe that's me. scale mail and BSS make up for it anyway. don't forget a holy symbol, unless the thing serving as belt buckle is it?
I like her tensed, somewhat thoughtful look, trying to decide if action is opportune or not this time.
heh, a name... either unbleivable cliché heroic, or incredibly banal. both work. :)

groovy. :)
well, setting purity normally doesn't work out, so I know what you mean. in the end it's supposed to make fun, not make sense. :) I was just saying because it initially reminded me of a stormtrooper armour. but why not, made of tin it doesn't offer much less protection anyway, does it? :)

Its good to draw just for yourself when you can. I don't draw that often, but I think that if you do nothing but commissions and can't find the time to draw to satisfy your own wants, you can loose your passion for drawing. It can turn into more of a job if it continues to do so.
Well, I'm glad that you did at least. You certainly seem busy... what, with your commissions, web comic, and who knows what else you do in real life.
