A scene from one of my favorite older cartoons "Rabbit's Kin" where Bugs Bunny goes up against dim witted Pete Puma. Pete is arguably the dumbest character I've ever seen with a funny sounding "eeee" that he does after some of his lines. In this scene Pete is trying to impersonate the little rabbit's mother and is doing a very bad job of it too. Pete insists that he and Bugs have coffee when tea seems to be giving him headaches. I don't think you could get away make something like this now, (I've heard some critics say that the cartoon makes fun of those who are developmentally challenged. )

*G* Thanks! I remember that a lot of the cartoons were edited for content or removed altogether in the late 1990's and early 2000's. The only place to watch them now is online where the uncensored versions still exit because they don't put the originals on TV as they were produced anymore.
Tea gives me a headache! EEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Great cartoon! Thanks for linking it!
On an unrelated topic, there seems to be a number of WB cartoon guys that try to eat the main characters. Pete Puma obviously being one. And I've always wondered why they didn't wanna be eaten! I mean, outside of the cooking aspect (yikes!), I'd love to end up in Pete's fat little belly!

Wile E and Pete were two characters that were high on my favorite cartoon pred list, thinner body types with long necks to go down inside of. The pre nom coooking scenes for Pete and the use of knives and forks by Wile E was probably something that they added so that kids would think "Now he's getting ready to have dinner." When in reality the preds would tend to stuff the prey characters in and start swallowing them or chewing them or whatever.
