affleIt's been a while since people have taken a look into the productive life of Lanith and Rathiel. Today we have a peek at them in their usual setting, a workshop. They're mechanical engineers, suited to a research and development role thanks to their great innate knowledge, memory, critical thinking skills, and overall willingness to learn the world around them. They do, see a lot of field work however, considering they can do heavy lifting and high intensity work that just about anyone else around them can't do. Perks of being two and a half times the size of a normal person. A lot of their work deals with larger projects, such as large scale heavy machinery and transportation projects - their size unfortunately doesn't let them work on much smaller without tool assistance. They don't seem to mind though, having been doing their work for quite a few years now and achieving a chief engineer position. They're well liked, well learned, and enjoy what they do - it's enough for them in the world they're in.
This was a little overdue commission from Affle for a while, but I'm glad some design changed before this was finished so it was capable of reflecting it. Surprisingly enough, as much as I am interested in the field of science and engineering, I've never actually gotten a Lanith and Rathiel picture done up in one of these styles. Though I suppose clothing is a rarity I might ought to think about fixing some year with these two.
