Randal hates being called Randy. Candace hates being called Candy. If you dare refer to them as "Randy and Candy" you will be beaten senseless by at least one of them.

Randal has a deep love of puzzles and riddles, and especially Murder Mystery parties, which he prides himself on winning without the use of his Cubi abilities; he has been known to start fights with other Creatures he suspects to be cheating. Candace is an adventurer who leads parties in tracking down actual murderers, as well as kidnap victims and runaways.

Randal is pansexual/apathetic, sleeping with almost anyone who asks but never making the first move himself, and firmly disinterested in anything more serious than a one-night stand. Candace refers to herself as "almost a lesbian," only engaging in relationships with men if there's a mutual desire for children (so far she has none, despite several relationships spanning almost a year each, and only staying together so long because of the intent to reproduce).

As children they would very unsubtly switch places with each other, a joke they continue on to this day (when Candace isn' t on a job). Both of them converted to the Insectis Clan following Zezzuva's retirement.
