Cutting shapes out with xacto blades takes me back to my college days, although it's a hell of a lot less annoying when the shapes aren't limited to anal-retentively perfect squares and rhombuses.

This is adorable! The 2d and 3d design classes at my school are based on having to cut and paste all these geometrically precise shapes together and it's pretty much the worst thing ever.

Next to the abstract collages they crammed down our throats, that was absolutely my least favorite group of projects (they were in our intro to graphic design class).

Although, cutting paper with precision turned out to be very VERY helpful with my current job...
