I am going to hazard a guess to the story.
the person from whose point of view we are seeing this from, has noticed his/her friend's drink has been spiked, they try to warn him, but is too late. their friend terns into a female anthropomorphic snow leopard, and as their friend starts acting like a drunk girl (because their friend is a drunk girl now), they try to get her out of there and back to her own home to wait for the affects to wear off.
