If slow and steady wins the race, then Lex must be miles ahead of everyone else. He prefers to take things at his own pace, even if he’s outrun by a Slowpoke or two. He seems to broadcast an air of serenity and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his classmates, though he seems to try a little too hard to treat everyone equally for fear of being unfair. Though appearing to be laid back, he’s incredibly self-conscious and is always worried of what his peers think of him; this might explain his tendency to avoid playing favorites.

Lex himself swears that he was meant to be a Chansey instead of a Riolu, and refuses to evolve into a “fighting machine”. His intended line of work is physical therapy; he would much rather become a nurse, but fears his parents’ opinions.
