Welcome to the family :) As I explained in some of the pieces here: http://nielspeterdejong.tumblr.com/tagged/Bullywug When the men of the kingdom got cursed, they turned into Bullywug. But the women did not. As such, unions from those two then started to create human girls, and Bullywug boys. But after the native Swampstrider Bullywug (the original Bullywug) started mating with the human women (due to their Goddess Sune giving them an attraction to Bullywug, in order to counter the curse a little bit), and they mixed with the Plainstrider Bullywug (the cursed ones who became Bullywug), they then started giving birth to A) Human girls or B) Bullywug boys and girls. Hence why they all look like this now.
There is a distinct difference between male Bullywug Plainstriders and Swampstriders, but not so much between female Bullywug from either of those groups. As you can see here: http://nielspeterdejong.tumblr.com/.....ywug-reference

See, this is why I like modern medium-fantasy. It not only lacks the snobbish and slavishly archaic pretension of high-fantasy, as well as the occasionally banal brutishness of low-fantasy, but it often includes and happily incorporates fantasy equivalents of modern objects. It's like steampunk for D&D, Magicpunk. It's also way more logical. If magic really exists and is testable, and useful, clever and maybe money-minded mages would figure out the magic telephone, or the magic radio, with magic tech support and magic malfunctions. People in the past actually were not as backward and regressive as we think. They ran right into new technology and fiddly bits, just look at home folks went crazy about the World's Fair and similar places to check out dish washers and cars that could reach 60 mph.
This story just keeps getting better and better!

Indeed, I could not have said it better myself :) People just made the best use of the tools that were available to them at the time. Heck, during the 100 year war even the longbow archers would put their tips inside dirt to try and make sure their enemy's wounds were infected. That is a more morbid example, but while they didn't understand why, they understood when it happened.

If you scroll down here: http://nielspeterdejong.tumblr.com/tagged/Bullywug you'll see that Bullywug girls have breasts and tits as well :) They are part human now after all ;)

Is your paladin immortal? Because we could either have him make an appearance as the husband of the Bullywug mother (she got kids young) or her father. Like I said, all unions between Bullywug and humans either create Human girls, or Bullywug boys and girls. And many of these human and Bullywug girls often take human lovers and husbands. Not so much though that there won't be any human boys being born anymore (they still keep some human guys around), but those unions will ensure that human communities will have very beautifull and vertile human girls as well :)
