I want to create a new avatar for myself. A friend of mine says I should create a lizard but I prefer dinos . . . hence this.

I'm learning that I have a lot to learn about avatar creation. The final image (the big one) looked good at full size, but when shrunk down it seems to loose something, a.k.a everything. I can crop and focus in (see the little one in the bottom right) but then I loose the little bell that I like.

*sigh* Live and learn, I suppose.
Any hints from you long-time avatar creators out there?
