today's warmup: another style experiment. i'm still fussing with painting. I have an easier time with things when I do them on a smaller scale, so I decided to try a lil pixel painting like I've seen some peeps do. still couldn't quite get it to blend in a way that made me happy, but I'm pretty satisfied with the result. c: Though I'm starting to think real painting might just go against my nature. The moment I try to smear something with a brush it's like NO NO THAT DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT CTRL Z CTRL Z. I guess my soul just craves that binary tool crispness too much.

ngl I was tempted to just sell this as a design, that face cracks me up. friendly forest spirit. they're a good guy.
