Who Watches THESE Guys?! - by IntroducingEmy
Rorschark's Journal, March 27th, 2009:
Stupid spider in alley today. Claimed he was better Rorschach than me. That bug is scared of me. I've seen his true face. (It's all black, usually!)
Claims his colouration, his natural web abilities and his acrobatic agility makes him superior. Debases my name.
Doesn't realize it takes a ruthless, hunting predator to do it right. Not some smooth-talking spider, who would have his prey come to him in his cozy den.
One day, all his accumulated silken strands will ensnare him like so many tiny vermin before him.
And then he'll dangle there, look down at me and shout: "Save me!" And I'll look up and whisper: "No."
...in my much better Rorschach voice. :>
A cute commission by a cute bat:

So, I saw Watchmen about a week ago, and then I saw that Emy was in need of commissions for cash-money! So I thought why not? I just happened to have the name 'Rorschark' pop into my head while replying to her journal about icon and badge commissions.
I can't say enough good things about her charming style and the speed of her work. :}===<
I very much enjoyed the movie, but my two alternate alter-egos really fell in love with Rorschach, as you can see. I tried to tell AcePrion (a blue shark) that he'd make a much better Dr. Manhattan, all floaty and glowing bright blue, but noooo.. he ruined that mask, too. :P Visually, Ned makes a better Rorschach, considering he's all black and white, naturally.
Anyway, I love this piece, it's super cute, exactly what I asked for.. and definitely the best rendering of ArachNed's face and eyes! ::)
What do you guys think, who makes the better half-crazed vigilante? And how about 'RorschArach' or 'Rorscharachnid' as a name for Ned's version?

Thanks! And thanks for the favourite, but I didn't draw it,
introducingEmy did! You could go compliment her on this piece, there's a link to it in the comment section, above.

First place prize was an autographed copy of the game and a pair of arcade-quality joysticks.
Second place got a signed picture of the Gord and can of Coke.
Third place won the copy of the game used for the tournament.
Sometimes, Gord likes to remind people that second place is just the first of the losers.
(Paraphrased because I'm too lazy and tired to go look it up right now. *grins* Even if Gord was a crazy, violent, weird little man, he wrote some funny stories about what he wished he could've said at the time...)

Well, who says it wasn't a sock-like material in the first place? The joke was that a mask would never really fit on a shark head, and his big snout had ripped through it. Although I guess I didn't really need to explain that.
Ah well, it was more to support Emy than anything else.

Glad you like it and thanks for the fave and the watch, but I didn't draw this,

I suppose the description area was a bit too full for that fact to be easily noticed. I did devise the concept and write their lines, though.
