Fucking chiptune Jesus.
You'd think using a smaller selection of tones to work with would make mixing and mastering easier but oh GOD no. Everything I tried always ended with a square being too loud, or the triangle bassline screeching like mad. Granted, I did cheat with the drums (Overdrive works like a charm) but still, absolute pain in the arse.
I do like the result though. Far more craziness with the melody than I usually do, which is a nice change of pace from my calmer, plodding rhythms.
Thoughts? Criticisms? Death threats? Fire away and enjoy!
