Pangolin character I've drawn bout twice before. Been wanting to draw someone with this pose. Still will draw it again, but with Taka.
Micron .01 pen
Sakura white pen
Pitt superfine pen/marker
Strathmore Charcoal paper dyed with Pom Pomegranate juice and a touch of blue dye.
I had to add the green filter to it to make it look as close to the real thing. Scanner just doesn't pick up the color the way it should be. RCG to CMYK or real life never works well.

October 2008 someone on DA I was watching posted a realistic drawing of one, and I had to try it.

Though I do know you have one in the comic, and now have made yourself one.
I liked the way that sketch came out and used him in one of the comics. I used her too. I just wanted to get this pose halfway right before I actually draw Taka in it, while practicing this inspired style.

This is ALL KINDS OF AWESOME! Wow! I LOVE how this dye job turned out, there's so much awesome to look at. :D I love how you took care to render all of those scales for the character; This reminds me of a Kung Fu Panda-style pose. There definitely should have been a Pangolin character in that movie. *grin*
hehe. I know some spanish, but no russian. And it's ok. I seem to be different from most Americans. I don't understand it, but I have an easier time relating to, and speaking to people in other countries. So, even if you trip on your english, I'll never get upset. It isn't your primary language. You made an effort to learn my language, the least I can do is be patient and understanding when you trip up. :D
