Okay, I'm crying while posting this.

MW came to the Rehab center to be with me today. We went to the surgeon's office and he took out my stitches! I did not expect that. He said everything is looking good and now I have to "negotiate" with the therapists to see when I'm going home. I'm betting this weekend. What a difference from last year!

As MW was on the bed, drawing, he refused to show me what he was drawing. When he was done, he wished me an early "happy birthday" and showed me this picture. I promptly melted into a tearful puddle.

It's not been as dramatic stay like last time, but I am walking quite well with my walker now.
