Tyrannosaurus Rex

Just finished another pic that I drew this morning. This guy is the first ever time I've drawn a T-Rex. In fact, I've never drawn any dinosaur characters before.

I'm pretty pleased with how he turned out.

As for the colour scheme, I'm not sure why you'd find it familar. I looked at a number of T-Rex pics and this sort of scheme seemed to be a usual one...
