I doubt kids still play to indians (or even cowboys), but at least Zake the otter
and Tomkitty the kitty 
is what are playing and imagining they are around a woodfire (and probably they are, then...they'll put the marshmallows, and they have their camp tent behind, not a real teepee)
I liked so much the result of this, so it was worth the sacrifice of my little bottle of black indian ink that I threw by accident while I was doing this u__u and it was an expensive one (a winsor & newton ink), well, I need to buy a new one to continue this daily challenge.
This was done with Indian ink (RIP) and black markers.

Curioso que menciones lo de la planeación.
Cuando empecé esto, había puesto la tienda india casi al centro, y a los dos personajes en la orilla de la hoja, me di cuenta que estaba haciendo algo completamente desproporcionado en cuanto a composición, y cuando lo entintara, la nutria de la izquierda me iba a costar trabajo porque estaba justo en la orilla de la hoja, sin ningun espacio libre. Me negaba a repetirlo pero pensé "valdrá la pena!"
Y sí, borré el dibujo, lo repetí, y me siguió quedando igual de bien que el primer boceto. A veces uno teme eso, que borre un boceto que había quedado bien y después ya no quede igual de bien.
