Commission Sketch for SkyFyre
Yes, I know MuscleWolf posted this, too, but I want to comment on my parts:
When I do morphing or "additions" to MuscleWolf's drawings, I use a lot of Photoshop trickery at times. BUT I am still use traditional methodology when doing my own art. I am experimenting with Corel Painter right now, since it "mimics" a lot of traditional styles. At present, I cannot set up my easel and paints in the apartment flat (tenants and the odor). And it's awfully hard setting up, even with MW's help. So I have chosen to go digital right now.
As to this sketch: I have found the pleasure of BRUSHES in Photoshop!!! I used two types of grass brushes that come with it. However, years ago when I first used them, I thought they were supposed to be STAMPED. I didn't like the effect. Now I found out you DRAG it like a brush (duh?), and it's a very nice effect, used sparingly. The clouds stamp set I got for pennies on Content Paradise, which is a website mainly for 3D. However, they have 2D stuff on there, too. And a LOT of free stuff, too.
I hope that you like what MW and I do. We have lots of fun doing it. And if you ever see something done in a drawing (and want to know how it was done), just PM either of us. We'll tell you.
