That leaf thing can't taste good. I'm assuming it's keeping the little flame from burning his tongue, otherwise that's gotta really hurt

Considering that the aforementioned "Stupid thing" just happens to be a Pine Marten, an animal that spends most of it's life in the trees, then I'm not seeing the issue here.... especially since this in a thick forest with lots and lots of tall trees.

Couple that with the (most likely) inability of the wolves to climb, then I'm predicting that our Marten protagonist will make a successful, if still eventful, getaway. :)

I know, right! The sharp tightening of the view coupled with over-the-shoulder, it really sells the narrowness of our little Rask's escape.

Yeah, it really puts you in the action and makes it completely clear what's at stake within that moment. A really amazing piece of visual narrative.

all that pine marten hasto do is get a small fire going then "accidently toss an ember or a burning stick down and start a forest fire"
