The city streets were littered with glass from shattered high rise windows, reflecting the flashing red and blue lights from various vehicles that were littered about, blocking the intersections. At the end of the four lane street towered a huge office building, smoke rising from it's upper floors. CTI's Eastern US Headquarters, with gentle grey smoke lifting papers from the fourth and seventh floors through shattered windows.
In the streets below the various vehicles acted as a barricade for an assortment of authority groups, the FBI, Police Department, a few APC belonging to the US Army's Apex Security Force and cars belonging to the US Cyber Marshals. Between them and the building, hovering over the shattered glass was their target, the fugitive Apex Unit Meer. A rogue android, an enemy of the state, one who CTI had pushed very hard for action to be taken against and now here she was, cornered with CTI to her back and the government and Army in front of her.
The lynx growled, her palm cannons and jets leaving trails of smoke in the air.
A future scene perhaps, or just one of many possible futures? Here Meer sits with her enemy, the mega-corporation CTI's Eastern US headquarters behind her, with the authorities, mostly composed of the US Cyber-Marshals working with the Army's Apex Units in front of her. With their forces combined the lynx has no direct escape and she must fight.
