*Mask of Lies*

I see lives pass before me,
All the lies that they've shown me.
Still I'm first to shun, but I'm the one,
Who is stuck with all the guilt.

To cheat and to lie is forever beneath me,
Yet who am I to cast any stones?
Throwing blame and deciet, no matter how discreet,
Makes bitter memories for us all.

Anger, pain and agony can be feelings too,
Insane it may be, but still is sadly true.
Bliss always fleeting, only held in the moments,
So take them in and enjoy them.

Never lasting, ever flowing,
What way will the winds next be blowing?
Change will come, and feelings replaced,
But through it all, carry a bold face.

Face the torment, face the danger,
Fear is only a masked stranger.
