This is how I like to spend my time when waiting for the staging area to open up at Anthrocon. I like to skip through the spectators that are lining up for the parade, and meet them. You can look at it a couple of ways: On one hand, I want to do what I can to amp up the excitement for the parade and kick start that whimsical festival atmosphere. On the other hand, it gives me a chance to grab up some attention before the 2000+ other fursuiters take it all! :P

But seriously - I just didn't want the spectators to get bored while they were waiting for the parade to start, and I also simply hate standing around with all that excited canine nervous energy buzzing through my furry frame.

You fellow fursuiters who were in the Anthrocon parades probably know what I'm talking about: No matter how much you give of yourself to the crowds, you seem to receive that much joy and perhaps even more in return. Maybe that's what makes this is such a fantastic, addicting hobby.
