These are all die-cast models in 1/72 scale. That makes them about five or six inches long, on average. I got a number of them at a toy discount warehouse, others I paid the full price for -- which is unreasonably high in my opinion, and gotten only higher. Toy-R-Us has a somewhat different version of the P-40 Warhawk (withoug the extra parts for lowered landing gear that they used to have), and prices it at $22! It's getting so that Toys-R-Us is the last place to shop, and the most expensive.
Left to Right, bottom row. Spitfire Mk.V, Hawker Hurricane (sea version), Hurricane (SE Asian version), F4-U Corsair, another F4-U (night ops?), a P-51d Mustang, an A6M "Zero" naval version, two Ju-87 Stukas (different squadrons), and a Me 262 jet fighter.
L to R, top row. Soviet MiG 15, Korean era USAF F-86H, Curtis P-40 Warhawk, yet another F4-U (naval), a Republic P-47 "Jug" or Thunderbolt, an A6M "Zero" for land ops, a Bf. 109g "Gustuv" optimized for the desert, Fokker DR.1 Triplane, and a Spad XIII.
The pillow in the shape of Bubbles head is something I found at the Salvation Army, and snapped up. Rather have Buttercup, but she seems harder to get. *ahem*.
The plastic 3D maps are areas I've visited. On the left is Yellowstone Park, and on the right Death Valley. These are two of seven in all.
