These die-casts are all made by New Ray, whoever that is. They aren't in a consistent scale, and the main seams are more prominent than they need to be. Yet for all that, they are a nice line of the current top copters.
Left to Right, am Aerospatiale HH-65A Dolpin in coast guard colours, an EH-101 Cormorant in Canadian rescue colours, a Hughes AH-64 Apache, a Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk in Army colours, an SH-60B Seahawk in navy colours, and (almost out of sight) another UH-60A Blackhawk in night ops colours. Most have sliding doors, rotating props, and sometimes opening hatches, folding undergear, etc. The price, at under $20 each, isn't too bad.

Except where noted, the detail is good.
But rare? No. I see them at Wal-Mart sometimes, other times at Toys-R-Us. There's a cigar store in the nearby mall (unusual since I'm deep in the city, not the burbs), that carries a lot of diecasts. For some reason cigar stores often carry collectables as well as pipes and tobacco humidors. Anyway, they have a number of these. I suggest looking for dedicated toy stores, rather than actual hobby places (that stress kits and R/C).

I saw some gorgeous PPC light rail cars (streetcars in other words) by Corgi, I think. But they were too expensive by far. And they only seemed to come in Philadelphia and some other American city's colours. I wanted the cream and maroon of Toronto's TTC. (Fat chance of that, though.)
