Awesome pic Wen!! This reminds me long ago when I bought my very first GameBoy back in the early 90's. It was a slightly used one I purchased at a flea market, rarely used.
I didn't have enough money for a brand spanking new one, but it came with the operating manual, headphones, and the free Tetris cartridge.

I know it’s an old pic from 2016, but I genuinely love it and I just wanted to complement you for it.
On a technical standpoint, it’s great, it’s colorful, it has a lot of details, it’s really well drawn, it has good shadings, pretty much great job!
But on a personal level, it’s much more than that, it just warms my heart.
First, there are all of the Lion King elements; I especially adore the Simba plush, the movie poster and the themed bed sheets. The Lion King is the movie that would represent my childhood, I have so many great memories of it, I loved it as a kid and I still love it now. So that’s why I love your drawing for depicting my childhood, but also an idealistic one.
Then there’s all the details like the fact that the character depicted there is a young teenager, the fact that he’s an anthropomorphic lion, the fact that he’s wearing diapers and has no shame in doing so, the fact that he’s playing videogames and the fact that’s he’s chilling in his bedroom. To me it represents what would be my idealistic childhood (of course not absolutely exactly like in your art). About the young teenager part, it’s because being this age is young enough to still be innocent, cheerful and to personally have no shame being this way but old enough to, I guess be my own self ?I don’t know I never felt being too young, but I couldn’t properly explain it. As for the anthro lion part, I feel it’s because … I’m not comfortable in my own body and I guess being an anthro lion would be a way … but anyways, onto the next part. For the wearing-diapers-and-having-no-shame-in-doing-so part, it’s because for me wearing diapers is symbolic to be protected, to be pampered and to have loving ones looking after you; and as for the confidence in wearing diapers, it represent for me the lack of shame to wear it, to embrace it, without the fear of being judged by the world (Also the “Diapers for Teens” kind of does mean that, that’s it’s okay to wear diaper as a teenager, that there’s no shame in doing so, possibly that it won’t be socially judged); I want to explain it more because I love that part (or rather the last two parts) but I guess I can’t get it out. Anyway, for the videogame part, it’s just because I love playing videogames. And for the chilling-in-his-bedroom part, it echoes to the wearing-diapers part, because there’s a sense of protection, of innocence, of happiness, of peacefulness.
And that’s why I love this pic. Because it represents my vision of an idealistic childhood .And I have to thank you for it.
I know it was a commission from someone else, but it still rings a bell for me.
I realize how much of a long comment I wrote.
