I just looked at your drawing. Nicole looks fantastic; Julius doesn't look too bad. You get used to Judy as a girl and you see her as a guy and it's a bit disconcerting, I guess. I don't know why Nick as a girl doesn't bother me as much, though, unless I've always pictured foxes a more feminine than masculine. (You know. How most people picture cats.)

No Julius, brush WITH the grain! Sure backcombing gives more volume, but it's a nightmare to untangle.

Wow! For some reason, this works for me. Even though I'll still consider Nick(ole) to be a guy, he actually looks great as a vixen. Ju(lius)dy actually doesn't change much to me. I guess it's because I can't picture rabbits as either male or female and Julius just looks a lot like Judy to me.
