Homosexuality among imps is unusually common, with an average of 10% among populations, going up to 25% in some extreme examples. They are seen as valuable members of society almost everywhere; as raising young is something that can be equally well-performed between both genders without special aid, same-sex pairs can easily adopt and raise unwanted eggs and hatchlings or they become brood helpers, usually for one partner's family member. Basically, the grandmother paradox of humans is a gay uncle paradox for them.
