For the fifth year in a row, I've been supporting the Central Michigan's amateur radio club as the furry entertainment. Don and his lovely wife Julie have Always been there for me, mentoring and cheering for me and my kids. My kids and I all have our ham licenses. This year, we unfortunately lost Julie to complications from the flu, so this year's swap meet was sort of a memorial to Julie who used to organize the whole shooting match.
Deval drove up specifically for the swap meet and of course we had to include our number one fan for the day. Don was feeling the keen loss of his bride of 45 years, so I hope Deval and I were able to help bring on some cheer.  Deval , thanks for visiting and I hope we got that Michigan map folded properly!
