Nobody ever expected a shy, sweet, and innocent girl like Samantha to enlist in the military and become one of the most feared spec ops assassins the Monrovian military had to offer. General Samantha Sandburn became the face of the Monrovian military and terrified the holy nation of Judlathos who invaded further inland in the 500 years war.

Monrovia is a secular nation who inhabitants are largely agnostics, atheists, and religious moderates. The holy order of Judlathos did not like this sinful behaviour and declared a holy war on the Republic of Monrovia. You see, the Judlathos sect views woman as less than human, nothing more than tools for breeding: and are not allowed to go in public. They believe if you are killed by a woman, you are sent straight to hell. Upon learning this Samantha gladly obliged, preferring front line service so they can see directly who is going to kill them.

After learning a woman was in command of Monrovia's military and beating back their forces, this had a crippling morale effect on the Holy nation of Judlathos's soldiers, they would literally run into the gunfire of male soldiers or suicide bomb out of fear of being killed by Sam instead.
