Having taken a liking to patches_namaki recent work "a girls best friend"(which this image is entirely based off of), I was eager to draw it.
The clothing was very appealing which were apparently inspired by moulin rouge (never seen the movie), though I didn't know the original colours so I had to take some creative liberties. I'm actually quite happy with the decisions I made in that regard.
Still, the pencil work took about and hour and a half while the lackluster colouring and lineart took nearly 5 hours... O_o I wonder if a tablet would speed things up.

I hadn't drawn in awhile so this was quite the pick me up.
