I really like your use of different fur textures here. The face fur looks realistic and quite pettable, while the back fur looks really cool and quite edgy, while the throat fur... I want o play wi that throat fur. Everything makes a nice, flowing outline. The whole chimæra is cool and rather handsome, but I do have a bit of difficulty finding out on whether that is the chimæra's horn or ear.

The background, works, working in highlighting the chimæra's face while implying a passage, giving a sense of location.

I think it's an ear. it's hard to remember for sure after all this time xD
