this really is a pokemon in the new versions sun and moon and has a day form and a night form, my pic above shows the day form, showing him in a feral wolf form, the night form is a werwolf like pokemon with a strange design

A nice looking Pokémon in this form and I think will be quite popular, though from the picture I looked up for the night form I'm not so keen on that design which I guess is supposed to be a sort of werewolf. I also think the German name is better than the English or just fits better if that makes sense.

I agree, I prefer the day form too. But night form Wolwerock reminds me too much of a Smurf that has transformed into a werwolf (judging by the look of the white head fur)

Each new gen the pokemon fans get even more picky. Specially those fan boys from the first gen.
But for this wolf, I probably will play with both forms XD

I am a fan from the first generation on, too, but I also like many Pokemon from the new generations too, there are some Pokemon in each and every gen, that I do not like so much because of the character design, but that is a subjective point of view and of no matter to the game itself.

Totally agreed! All game got their own merits. But is annoying when people say that all the new pokes are dumb and weird, when the first gen also have dumb and weird pokemons too.
My favorite pokemon is Emboar. Not only cuz I find his desing cool, but also cuz I'm not a good player and it was the best pokemon that I ever used in my team. What about you? Which is your fave?

the best team combo in my games (if available) is a trio combined Lucario, Arkanine and Admurai

I tried it too when I was kid and played yellow version, but I never liked very much of ash team. But I usually pick the ones I like mostly, even if that means play with a incomplete team most of the time. But now we the online features, this problem is totally solved. And actually, with so many cool pokemons on sun and moon, I probably will create a random team using the wonder trade XD
Anyway, we should battle sometime! I already warn you that I'm not a pro and so don't play with perfect IV pokes and following the smogon rules. (the one I have wiht perfcet IV i got trading with friends.)

no, this is Wolwerock, in english they call him Lycanrock. It is an all new canine pokemon in Sun and Moon with a day for (sun) and a night form (moon). I prefer the day form, the night form is supposed to be a werwolf, but Ken Sugimori screwed up a bit the design. The night form of Lycanrock looks like a Smurf transformed into a werwolf ^^;

Oh Nice! still have yet to play Sun or Moon but once fall break rolls around next week ill probably have more time to make it to the game store and pick up a copy of it. And I went ahead and googled Lycanrock moon form and hahaha its so bad, not very intimidating at all as a werewolf should be. Kind of a let down really the creators could have really done something to make him look more of a bad ass but instead he just looks terribly hungry for food.

exactly, big partner. If the original animator would have kept the head design from the day form, maybe with some extendec neck fur to make it look more buff and a little bit more human like anthro body, it would have been perfect in my oppinion

here in Europe it is released in November

I just checked the release date for these games and to my surprise it's not available for purchase yet in the United States. I think November 18th is the date it will be released worldwide but the demo is available but I would much rather wait till the game comes out.

And yeah my thoughts exactly partner of the design of the Pokémon character. The should of just went with the more werewolf looking appearance cuz I think it probably would of been more appealing. There are actually a lot of Pokémon that have that more human/buff torso and arms, the design that the creators went with is sort of a let down. In my opinion it looks kind of dumb looking I'll probably be getting the Sun version rather than the moon.

yup, if Ken Sugimori, who drew all the Pokemon designs from the beginning, would have used a body design for Wolwerock like it was done for Maschok (Machoke?), but left the head design from the day form, it would have been the best way of solving the problem

maybe one day I will post an own idea for Wolwerock night form^^
