Amazing work!! But then again, it's so sad that some have to life in places like that for real.
But watching that little kid being so innocent and oblivious of the everyday on-going horror being done, it somehow feels
he could be the start of a new and better future. With the help of those risking their lives every day, he may be

Ah
The change from collar to the tab was a bugger to me during the change over and caused more than a few times.
(Fortunately being in no salute situations it kept me from getting my NCO butt chewed LOL)
Scenes like this bring back the only good memories I have from that time. I love the pred showing compassion to the prey. The children where the only part that gave me some hope.

This one is also impressive art work. Though it break my soul, cause it shows soo much with so little. Most people just want to live their lives in peace so our childs can grow with happines. I look at things like this and instantly hear in my head "Imagine" from Jhon Lennon. and I will die believing that is possible. ...I could cry if I look at this one long enough...thinking of those kids in Syria or other parts. ...Guess that says a lot about how well done this is. Namaste.

Sadly most soldiers are savages (doesnt matter what culture or nation) who wouldn't hesitate to kill innocent, not all mind you. But majority are scum (probably mentally insane) who think they are playing a video game...

I suppose not everyone even wishes to attempt to be reasoned with.
Still, perhaps one day you'll be in a situation where the actions of me or one of my brethren do give you a change of mind/heart, I suppose in that regard we are deranged. On duty or off, we'll run towards the fire or stand against the danger, in lieu of others.
Till that day then,

I'm not an American and I am more or less a pacifist myself. I would not normally do military themed commissions (in part because it does not appeal to me visually, but also due to it's connotations), were it not for the fact that I know Mag, he is a fundamentally good person, and this piece has a special significance to him personally.

As a recent book series I'm listening to, (Expeditionary Force- Columbus Day) the main character knew that the real battle of an occupation force is winning over the Heart and Minds of the people rather then just by force. It's really the best way for long term peace and prosperity
