As a follow-up to my previous presentation of early art for "Rowrbrazzle" - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21380092/ - I have a prototype of title art for my "Rowr-Puzzle!" column (Circa 1990, when I was still a 'waiting lister', instead of a member)...
Before simply using a complex font for the title page of my semi-regular column (featuring animal-related puzzles of all types), I'd drawn a lion who became frustrated and angry, as a result of his inability to solve a Rubik's Cube. His roar was morphed into the column's title. (I was originally going to have said lion as my column's 'mascot', but I'd replaced him with my bobcat 'fursona', an issue or two later.)
And even though not every issue I'd contributed to had puzzle material in it, I'd more than made up for it by submitting lots of 'funny animal' art (in the form of 'doodles', 'comic strips', 'fat furry' images, 'fan art' [mostly of Disney characters], etc.). Which reminds me...
If any of you would like to consider joining the 'funny animal' APAzine - whose past roster had included comic book artists like Stan ("Usagi Yojimbo") Sakai, comic strip artists like Brett ("U.S. Acres") Koth, webcomic artists like Mark ("Freefall") Stanley, animators like Chris ("The Lion King") Sanders, and plenty of alumni currently in "FA" including
