The good folks at Sofawolf have given me permission to post the cover I did them for the upcoming issue of Heat #6. Heat is " Our mixed-media periodical definitely aimed at the adult audience. Heat features comics, short stories, poetry, and illustrations celebrating the erotic. (quote from the web site). The guys at Sofawolf put out amazing publications and I always enjoy working with them.
Here's a link to the web site so you can go check out all thier fabulous publications! I believe Heat #6 will be premiering at Anthrocon this summer.

The cover is a scene from one of the stories that will be found inside. I also provided the interior illustrations for the story. I don't do a ton of images with lots of figures cause it just ups the artistic ante with every figure you add. But darn this was so much fun. I'm pretty pleased with the composition on this and how it draws the eye bang onto the central figure.

Well, there was a time when royalty used ermine hides for their regalia. The poor little weasels, giving up their lives so that others may look more beautiful! We're such martyrs for the cause. ;_;
What you said does remind me that I tend to think of minks being the more modern version of the rich and famous. Perhaps they're the Paris Hilton to our Jackie Kennedy. xD

Beautifully done. The white ermine in black stands out quite nicely, a stark black and white figure in a sea of color, to the point where the colorful party and guests fade into the background. I'm imagining that this contrast is how the canine with his back to us is viewing this scene.
Good god!
Hi there! I am the author whose story this picture corresponds with.
I confess that the moment I heard that you were doing the illustration, that I have been ecstatic. This picture here was well worth the wait. I am overjoyed. I cannot wait until I can see the interior illustrations that go with it.
Would it be considered crass if I plugged the story here that corresponds with this image?
