As my friends (or a quick read of my profile) will tell you, I am an Arizona fur. My winters usually have highs of 65 and lows of 40 on the coldest days.

Then I moved to Idaho.

October 2nd, I was between classes when I felt something hit my face. Assuming it was raining, I glanced up to see snow flurries fluttering around everywhere. It was above freezing, so nothing stuck. But still. Where I'm from the occasional rainstorm is thee only thing the sky gods grace us with.
Here, snowflakes fall just after September. It is quite magical.
