I got bored so I decided to do a quick lil' height chart of all my necromancer babes :v The heights aren't 100% set in stone yet, but this is my general range at least, haha.

They're all different "types" of necromancers because hey why not, haha

Rez: Resurrectionist type necromancer, she's able to fully restore life to the dead to create undead if she so desires, in both mind as well as body. She's freely able to meld the souls of the dead with corpses as well as create jiangshi if she so desires, though it takes a lot of magic. (Though out of the four of them, her magic pool is by far the largest so magic useage is rarely an issue for her.) She was responsible for bringing Nicolai and Jared back to life, resulting in the unreliable truce between the three of them. Her species is actually a lesser type of subterranean demon :v

Hex: Voodoo type necromancer. Technically he's the only one of the four that hasn't "died" and takes some mild pleasure in that, though he's considerably the youngest...and the shortest. His powers deal specifically in bargains and unscrupulous deals that rarely turn out well for those he contracts with. Though he was initially a priest of some mild renown, he found that nothing, not even his faith, could stop death, and so decided to make a deal with Res for his third eye, which then allowed him to see beyond the mortal realm and bring through undead spirits from other dimensions. In exchange, he pledged his loyalty to Res, for...well, whatever her goals seem to be. Of the four, he has the smallest amount of magic available to him since his magic relies not upon inherent mastery but traditional spells and symbols. He uses his powers primarily to bring back the souls of lost lovers or family members so that people can make peace with them, though rarely is the steep price for his services worth paying.

Nicolai: Husk type necromancer. He's able to pull souls in and out of bodies, but cannot meld the two together. He was frozen to death somewhere in Russia while hunting after a particularly rare undead creation whose origins remain unknown and was one of the two people fully resurrected by Rez. As a result of his death, he prefers to work with bodies that have died from hypothermia as opposed to more violent means. Once dead, he pulls the souls out of the bodies to fuel his own magic supply, while leaving the corpses as empty husks to do his bidding. While he insists he's of royal lineage, this is actually an entire lie, as he came from a pretty poor area, though he'd never admit it. He's the tallest and by far the thinnest of the group, as his nutrition was less than stellar in the last of his living years thanks to his impoverished state. Of the four, he is by far the least social and prefers to stay by himself in a small castle that his husks built for him. He has...a rather tumultuous relationship with Jared, and the two have maintained an unsteady black romance that has gone on and off again for centuries.

Jared: Stitcher type necromancer. Technically the second oldest of the group, though not by much. (Nicolai being the third and Hex the fourth) He was killed rather violently in an altercation during his military career but was brought back by Rez, who had been watching him for the majority of his life, which obviously isn't creepy at all. Before his death he had very minimal magic reserves, but post death his magic supply practically exploded as Rez poured her perverse brand of "life" into him. As a result, he's by far the most talented magic-wise compared to the other three, and is able to temporarily tie souls back into their bodies to harvest information or create more efficient soldiers, though he cannot keep them "alive" permanently like Rez can. While he's perfectly fine with working on whole bodies, he vastly prefers on working with mere pieces, which he then magically stitches together to create horrific creatures and twisted abominations, which he then sells off to various militaries and crime syndicates for easy money. He very rarely works with souls, preferring to stitch together the flesh, not the mind.
