this is a homework assignment for my songwriting class and its just a rough draft for now. theres some smoothing i will have to do but this is the basic idea. the assignment was to write a song about relationship from one of two categories. 1: "you left me and i feel bad" 2: "i found you and i love you". i chose #1, for those of you still wondering after listing the song is about a girl i cant have but how she'll always have a place in my heart. i have a sore throat and recorded this today. someone else will probably sing it in the final version. here are the lyrics:
