Personality: Itachi is truly the one who inherited everything good of his clan. Honorable, polite, caring, Itachi represents and holds close all the ideals that make up the ancient code of Bushido. But no matter how confident he appears on the outside, the shadow of doubt constantly follows the young Ninjask. Only his closest friends know when Itachi is suffering from bouts of depression caused by his handicap. With all that goes on in his life Itachi will fight depression and work to better himself and others through a positive “Silver Lining” personality.

Bio: Born completely blind Itachi’s parents struggled to help the young Nincada, providing him with the best education and training they could find, firmly believing that Itachi could do anything he wishes. Coming from a very old family in the East, Itachi new he could not let his blindness control his life. Studying under a private Zubat tutor, the young Bug type quickly learned that by moving his wings at sonic speeds even when folded in against his body, he could generate an echo effect. Using this new found radar system, Itachi found he could almost see images in 3D, any slight change in a flat surface like the slightest bit of chalk dust on a blackboard and he could read it, but this also limits him because his radar does not show him colors.

Studying all he could and learning as much as he could, the young Nincada quickly became board with the humdrum of a life hidden away from the world. Hearing about the PCA on an advertisement about its schooling and battles, Itachi snuck away from his home to attend the entrance exams for the next years Freshmen class. When it was his turn, the ones on the student selection committee quickly turned him away due to his handicap and because he did not have the parental consent to try out. Arguing his point with fervor and zeal, Itachi pleaded with the staff to allow him one chance to prove his worth. To their amazement the young bug easily passed a special written exam and blew past the battle test. The staff reluctantly agreed and provided he got his parents consent he could attend that fall. Convincing his parents proved difficult, but when they finally agreed, Itachi was so overjoyed that he evolved into the golden Ninjask many now see.

Freshman year was rough on Itachi, try as he might most teams were already formed and many offered him only an alternate position if he joined their team. This was a serious blow to Itachi and for a long time he told no one he was blind, His special wooden bokken given to him by his grand father had a special sheath that allowed him to use the wooden katana as a cane, with the schools permission. Faking a limp with the cane, Itachi let others think him weak so he quickly excelled at independent battles. During his Sophomore year Itachi began a friendship with Karen Merrell and Artemis Nine who both shared a love of swords and training. Seeing them as kindred spirits Itachi was shocked when they came to him, months later, having been beaten by and ancient Entei and asked if he would join their team. Feeling it was time Itachi agreed and became the fifth member of Team Viridian

Now open about his blindness, Itachi has become very good friends with Team Nocturne’s Zeke finding in him a brother who sees the world much the way he does and is happy for the company. Itachi is also Team Viridian’s Speed fighter, he seems to disappear when he really gets moving. A curious note for most is that Itachi keeps his wings tucked in tight and under clothes, only spreading them when he feels the need to fly. As such all his clothes have special slits that allow his wings out.
