" Hunter's log entry October 1st

Yesterday me, Summer, and new group member named Lily, and a Rival..." Hunter's concentration was broken by a loud bang

"Jessie! Why you little?" Lily yelled as rubbed her butt and made a 50ft supper jump to the lizard how had forgotten to put his suppressor on.

Hunter watch as she tackled the Brown lizard and went back to writing in his journal.

"Other than Jessie being a jerk and eating all our supplies we did some strange occurrences like simultaneous head tingles, and whistling, and all of the wild life suddenly going eerily quiet. So quiet if fact that we all couldn't sleep till the crickets started chirping again..." once again Hunter's concentration got broken again this time by Summer landing next to him and yelling "Need some help Lily? " then jumps in to help pinn the lizard.

Hunter whatches the two girls wrestle him to ground then resumes writing.

"I so far the wild life has been minimal and since 3 of us are pure carnivores that's gonna be a problem but I just have gut feeling the starvation is gonna be the least of..." Hunter jumped as his concentration was broken by a sudden tingling in his head.
"Guys I feel it again" He yelled looking to see the others jumped frozen right as Lily just shoved Jessie halfway down Summer's gullet. Hunter ran to her and pulled Jessie out of her by his foot.

"Sorry Summer. As much as I want to see you have him for breakfast, we need him right now." Hunter dropped Jessie and lead everyone to map of the forest they were.
"okay guys due the weird occurrences last evening and the fact that I just felt the tingling again. I think it could possibly be this 'skinwalker' thing. So it must be close." Hunter points to the mountain are on the map. Jessie since your a sniper, you get the nearby mountains." Jessie made an sneaky grin, "for once good idea"
"Don't get any funny ideas Jessie cause Summer is gonna be flying around there and looking down to the near plains and meadow. " Summer looked at Jessie with a dominating smile
"if you I catch you shooting at any us, I make you live a week without skin Jessie. "
The lizard just rolled his eyes at Summer's threat.

" Lily you and me will scout in the upper forrest here. If anyone hears, sees, or senses anything suspicious, just whistle, roar, yell, anything loud that will that group attention and we'll come running."

"Well not me. Cause its gonna take take me a while to get down from the mountains." Jessie gloated cheekily

"Yeah but I also means we can't get you instantly so you're on your own. Oh and one last thing. We need to check to see if it's sentient. So don't attack unless it attacks 1st. Got it?"

"I have a question?" Jessica asked

"Move out!" Hunter yelled and Summer without warning jumped onto Jessie sinking her talons into his shoulders and flies off to the mountains carrying him.

"Oh that was what I gonna ask." Jessie says as he was lifted away.

Hunter and Lily walked in the northern forest on the beaten path together. Lily keeps her bow drawn with an arrow snapped in and two other arrows in her other left hands as standby shots." you sure sure it's a good idea to split everyone up?" She asks
Hunter shrugs.
"Me and Summer taken on some tough things before. I have faith that she'll fine. Unless if she falls in the lake nothing here can hurt her...."

"Lake?" Lily cutted off with a silly smile," she can't swim? Why that's what everyone should know."

Hunter looked at her with a serious look, "it's not that she doesn't know how it's that her body is too dense. She'll sink like an anchor if she jumps in."

"Oh," Lily felt a little bad not knowing about that "well during the summer I'm a lifeguard so if she falls in, I'll pull her out."

"How do you go from life guard to hunter?" Hunter curiously asked in a casual tone.
"When you need something to do for when it gets too cold to swim and you want to put you skills and abilities to use." Lily answer as they approached a fork in the road.
"here's where we split. If you a loud whistle, it's my emergency call." Hunter walks down his path giving a see ya wave.

Lily watches him leave and follows her route for a bit before wander off the path to check the deep woods. But once at a certain point she noticed that is was quiet again like last night. no birds chirping it was as quiet as mute t.v. even felt a little more scary with the fact that she was alone and the trees and bushes there were thick enough to hide a person or two. She felt paranoid and readied her bow. She heard a distinct tap that was loud to the contrasting silence. She slowly walked to the direction of the tap which also gave her a feeling that she was being watched. She approached a small clearing with large rocks that were mostly in the ground. When she got closer, she noticed that the rocks in circle like it was placed there a long time ago. In the middle of the circle, she saw what looked like a deer skull. She carefully approached the skull and pick it up with one of her free right hands.

" was there some kind of sacrifice here?" She asked herself as started to examine it but noticed it was odd a of the antlers had a clean cut while the other antler was a bit more sharper and pointier than a normal deer. She also noticed that the teeth on the upper jaw sharp like for cutting meat. This puzzled Lily why would a plant eating deer need carnivore teeth. She turned the skull around and saw a word was scratched into the back of the skull that read "ISI"

"Is-i" Lily tried to read it when she heard something move and saw a single antler sticking out of the behind as Bush that's half her height. She thought I was a deer that hadn't noticed her and maybe she could use it as a snack to share with Summer. Lily stick one her arrows in her mouth and bit her fang down on the sharp arrowhead getting her paralyzing venom on it. She then pulled back on her bow pointing at where she thought the deer's neck might be at behind that bush and released the arrow. Right when she fired the arrow the antler turned facing her and a hand at some high speed shot out and grabbed the arrow out of mid air.

"Ugh!" was the only thing Lily could to say after seeing that. She looked at the at the still hand and steadily gazed into the hole made by it where saw this yellow eye start back her almost soul piercingly. Lily began to feel a tingles in her head one being the spider sense pointing towards the eye the other being from last night. Lily quickly fired a second arrow that she on standby in her one her other left hands it but the creature just disappeared before her eyes. Lily was startled wondering where it went. She pulled out 2 more arrows looking around while she still felt the unusual tingling meaning that it's probably still around. She remembered what Hunter said. That if anything usually happened, whistle to call the others. She raised her her free right hand to he mouth as she took a deep breath.

"Lily!"
She jumped after hearing Hunter's voice and looked for him .
"Hunter? Where are you?" She called out but was wondering why was he here.
"I'm stuck!" She heard him calling out and was able to pinpoint the direction of his voice behind the thick foliage cross the circle from her. But knowing her sense of direction she it was opposite of the direction she last saw went meaning that he had to pass her without her noticing.

"I was looking for you," he said in weird fast tone "come here! Help me!" Lily was starting to notice Hunter's weird short fast talking.
"Lily!"
Lily turned around as she heard Summer's voice behind her she looked but like Hunter, she couldn't see her.
"Summer?"Lily asked thinking that maybe Hunter whistle and that she just missed it. " Hunter needs hel...." she as interrupted when she heard Hunter yell "what is that? What is... ahhh!" he yelled in his blood curdling sceam.
"What's happening?" Summer yelled but suddenly " ahhh!" Heard summer screams followed by the sounds of fresh being stabbed.

Lily jumped back drawing her bow. Her spider sense goes off as she sees something about to hit her in the corner of her eye she blocks it with her lower left arm. Then her attacker disappeared before she could see what it was but she saw something sticking out of her arm that she used to block the attack was her arrow that it caught earlier. Lily was resistant to her own venom however not straight up immune. The effects will be slower and not as potent but is something to worried about. What was also strange to Lily was that her exoskeleton was stronger than the arrow. It should of broke upon impacted.

Lily shook head. She knew that she had to get out there now. She was about to start running when her spider sense once again triggered and heard some loud breathing a good distance behind her. Lily got plan as put another arrow in her mouth biting on it as she pulled her another arrow back. She thought that if this creature tried to run at her after she'd fired at it she'll stab with the it the venom arrow. Lily quickly turned was stunned to see it right in front of her.

It was about the same hight as Lily. It had a light brown fur from the neck down. It did wear clothes like shorts and a pelted hide bra covering it's breasts making it an obvious her. But what stunned Lily the most was it's head. The head looked almost liked Lily's. It had her face, her hair, and texture but it's eyes were yellow instead of black and there was an antler that stood out of it's gray hair.

The creature took advantage of Lily's shock and swiped at her bow hard enough break it, effectively disarming her. Lily pulled venomous arrow out of her mouth and tried to shank it but this creature grabbed the arrow and somehow pulled it through her hand. Lily actually saw the arrow phase through her fingers like it's was air for a slit second. Then Lily saw it trying to shank her like it did with other arrow. Out of reflex, she tried to block it with her lower right arm. Then like the first time it vanished as inbedded the venomous arrow into her other arm.

"Ugh!" Lily yells seeing the other arrows and is now starting to lose feeling in her arms

"Do you feel it?!" Lily's eyes widen. That was her voice she just heard. She slowly turn to see the creature with her still yellow eyed face. "No?" it asks "good" it smiles and starts approach Lily.

Lily knows that soon her venom will spread to the rest of her body leaving her mostly paralyzed which she probably doesn't want to be especially with what ever this thing is.

She thought about could do and came to one painful desperate conclusion. This is gonna hurt she thought to herself as she gripped her 2 numming arms with her 4 good ones. But I wanna live she then pulled on her numming arms feeling the sensitive skin of where her bottom pair of numming limbs painfully stretch.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Lily screamed as a golden liquid dipped from where her bottom arms connected to her torso as where getting ripped. With another hard yank, she tore her pair of arms off along with the spreading venom.
She took some deep breathes looking at her attacker how just stood there. Watched. Lily threw her lifeless arms at it and ran without looking to see if she hit it.

Being a spider, her blood vessels quickly closed when her arms came off so bleeding out shouldn't be a problem. She needed to get to camp hoping that if Jessie is still in the mountains that maybe he could cover her if he's willing to. Lily's spider sense went off pointing up to the trees.
She looked up and saw it. The creature was up standing on the tip of a pine tree.

Could see that it had a different now head now but was too far to get a detailed looked but she was more concerned by what it was holding. A scythe. It once again vanishes. Not knowing where it went put Lily in panic so she ran without thinking of which direction she was heading before. Every few seconds she saw in leaping through the trees as she ran than on the other side her.

Lily's spider went off as she saw it appear next to her. She jumped over it's scythe slash that was aimed at her leg. She then saw it jump at her and do a mid air spin attack. Lily tried to leap out of the way just barely getting nicked on the arm by it's sharp scythe.

"Ahh!" she yep in pain as she hit the ground. Lily quickly staggered up looking at her pursuer. It's head was definitely different but it held the blade of it's scythe, dripping with Lily's blood, in a way where the blade was blocking the top half of it's new face. Around the the blade Lily saw it had a deeper brown feather hair and below the blade a long dark sharp beak with a tooth. It just stood there silently in that position still as a statue. A small meep was heard and that's when Lily noticed something disturbing about this creature.

Under it's breast just, above its stomach, Lily could see that part of it's flesh was missing there exposing part its ribcage. But instead of blood or organs, there was just a black void behind the white visible bones and there was meeping coming from it. Soon a black little talon poke out from in between the exposed ribs. As the little creature crawled out, Lily saw that it was black as the void it came from. It had no visble features, not a face can be seen, however it did seem to be in the shape of a small wyvern. The little wyvern looked a Lily and hissed. It leap at her but Lily quickly swatted the black featureless wyvern away.
"Meep! Meep! Meep!" Lily paused and saw more little wyverns crawl out of the the this creatures ribs. Then the scythe wielding creature moved a let out a high pitched shriek that unleashed more black silhouetted wyverns out of open beak. The wyverns swarmed Lily like a hive of angry bees. She swatted at with her 4 good arms but there so many blocking her vision. Lily decided run away blindly.

"Raahhhh!" She screamed failing her arms around to desperately Getty the swarm away. Suddenly felt one of her feet not touch ground and the next thing she knew she was tumbling down thrashing along the rocks fallen branches till she finally came to a stop. Lily felt a lot of pain in her fallen left leg but at a wyvern swarm was gone. Lily heard some footsteps on leaves approaching her. She tried get up but her leg hurt hurted much. She must of twisted it in the fall. She knew that she wasn't gonna get away now so she closed her eyes and accepted her fate as she felt hand grip her shoulder.
