Yup, that was the best pun i could think of x3
So recently i've been watching this old 80s cartoon show called Dinosaucers! Which features talking anthro dinos wearing space suits! The show itself is a huge source of inspiration for my animation work~!
There are a ton of likable characters as well, most of which look pretty chunky, so of course i had to draw one of them eventually, and i decided to go with Dimetro! who's a Dimetrodon with two utility belts around his chest and waist, of course that gave me this lovely idea <3
All Dinosaucers came to Earth from a planet called Reptilon, and it seems they discovered that human food is a lot denser in calories compared to that of their home planet, not that they'd mind of course~
I'm actually really happy with how this turned out! the perspective is decent as well as the body shape! i tried to make the background look like the show and that went pretty good as well, though by far the strongest point here are the arms, never have i ever dreamt of drawing arms this flabby and soft looking <3

I love that show to bits. I have all episodes and one of my art wishlist's ideas involved Shiny as an Dinosaucers scout with an outfit like them, hehe. X3
I'd dig a DVD release of that show sometime as well as that what they sometimes do with such old shows, remaking it into a live-action movie. Could be fun. <X3
Hehe, I must say I would have thought Stego and Kephalo(or Bonehead?; I guess the names are all a little different at my country; the kids for example call themselves the Astroscouts while the Dinosaucers are the AstroDinos) would have been most likely to get in such funny situations. Another guy who's funny but from the Tyrannos is Quacko (Quackpod). Can never help but enjoy his laughing, at least in my country's version. =D
