Hiddson: Hello and welcome once more to Bandits Breakdown. Your one stop shop for all things Las Vegas Bandits. Brett Hiddson, Terrence Thursday here and Issabelle Holt in the sidelines. Terry, some good news and bad news.
Thursday: May as well do the bad news first...
Hiddson: Sylvester Stapler shoulder wouldn't let him be able to play against the North Florida Renegades.
Thursday: Very bad... the Good news?
Hiddson: Sylvester will give the next game against the Grand Rapids Dragons a go.
Thursday: So now we need to see how the team prepared Andre Williams for the Renegades in front of him.
Hiddson: Yep...
*cue highlights starting with showing with Sylvester Stapler still getting his shoulder nursed on the sidelines by training staff*
Hiddson: There's Stapler still trying to get things together. For the Bandits however it was another story. And Andre did a nice enough job to get the team on the board first even if it was a field goal. Quick pass to Renato Hanna here, another dink and dunk play for Stephen Harris here that actually goes for a big gain.
Thursday: Which plays into Williams skill set, and good for the coaching staff giving him the chance to cut loose for a bit and raise his confidence.
Hiddson: Wouldn't last long though with the Renegades in the red zone. Flip Penguinator... finding Alyssa Hunter for the sixteen yard touchdown pass. Miscues would be the theme of the second quarter. Quarterbacks Michelle Housely and Andre Williams with Turnovers, Housely sacked by Ricardo Mcleod and fumbles the ball for Coby Carson to recover. Williams unable to get his team down field on the turnover, but when he got to and goal distance.... Intercepted by Richardson and that would be a momentum shift. Third Quarter now... Williams trying again this time is intercepted by Farmer and he would return in for the touchdown... Story of the Bandits season these past two weeks... Final 23-3 for the Renegades and all of a sudden the Bandits lost as many games though 6 as they have lost all of last season.
Thursday: Yeah a bit of a tough go for the Bandits recently, but they can still make their way back into the playoff race with 10 more games to go.
Hiddson: Right Terry. And with that we'll take a short break but when we return. An outlook of the Bandits next game against the Grand Rapids Dragons.
