Yeah, those 350s will go forever. We have a 68 Chevy that is pushing 245K miles and just won't die. (It has a 396 but in spite of being a big block the important bits are pretty much the same)

Sucks when family promises you a vehicle and sells it out from under you. I was supposed to get my Dad's mint condition 1988 Pontiac Grand Prix LE TWO door. (a rare car around here) The completely stock 3.8L V6 put you in your seat and squealed tires at 55 MPH.
