in this case I'd say, ina downward curve ending in a point. everything else doesn't work hand-drawn.

Thanks, yeah it wasn't originally intended to be a concept sketch or even of Laureli, but just kinda turned into her over time somehow lol, I'll probably do another with the hair out of the way when I have a better idea of how I'd like to do the scales exactly and decide if I want to keep them for sure or not. Yeah she looks a bit chubby lol big but and hips and such, like I said she wasn't anyone in particular at first hehe, just felt like drawing a big butt lol

no complaints. :) my idea to them scales would be that they form a cross above the shoulder blades and into the wing arms. no idea if that would work visually, though. :)
