Finally got around to finishing my mask for Daisho Con, hurray! It's also the first mask I've ever done, bought it as a blank resin mask and already cut from https://www.etsy.com/shop/RedNebulaCosplay
It was expensive at the time, and it doesn't seem like they sell more of the type I bought. And there are cheaper ones on Etsy now, so, I'd look at those first if you're thinking about it. Besides, the lower jaw doesn't fit exactly right, so it's often open a small bit with gaps on the sides. I'm still incredibly happy with it though, came out better than I thought for my first one. The jaw moves, I just need to get a firm piece of foam to fit under my chin.

Cleaned it, cut out the plastic part of the mask where the eyes go, glued on the horns, then spray painted it all black and painted the mouth parts by hand. Then glued in the mouth parts, used a clear coat to protect the mask and give it a slightly shiny look, then I started gluing everything else into it including a piece of fabric with the eyes later attached to it.
It was a lengthy project, and difficult, but worth it.

Cool! Mine also involved a pretty lengthly process. I would've made a plaster mould of my face (which ended up being the most painful part of the process, but my eyebrows grew back eventually >.=.<), filled it with clay, added draconian features to the clay face and covered it with liquid latex to make the mask. Unfortunately, I kind of gave up midway through the process. I should try again sometime.
